2012 VMA's Fashion Recap

Last night I did NOT watch the VMA's I stuck to just watching the DNC, it seems like I missed out! Here is a recap of some of the best and WORST dressed stars!!

Rihanna

OH RiRI, I'm not going to comment on her kiss with Chris Brown but I will say... She looks AMAZING! Her make-up is so perfect, natural, and her lips were made for RED! TWO THUMBS UP! Her simple white gown is less scandalous than we are used to seeing from her, but I think she looks really elegant here.

What do you think of her ever changing hair style? I think she is a hair goddess!

You can recreate this look using a natural palette to your skintone on your eyes, perhaps with a little shimmer to it. Matte red lipstick and flawless foundation!

Taylor Swift

Hopefully she is now crazy in love with that Kennedy boy because all she sings about is heartbreak! But Taylor is breaking the hearts in this sexy white suit. The stars must have wanted one last white hoorah!

Super straight locks and perfect bangs give Taylor a very chic and edgy look, sexy lined eyes and my favorite red lips complete her look, although I would have loved to see a pop of color in her shoes!!

She looks like a barbie! You can recreate this look by going heavy on the liquid eyeliner and flaring it up, kinda Amy Winehouse style :) again flawless foundation and a good red lipstick!

Miley Cryus

Her chop was questionable... but I have to admit, this look is down right COOL! Edgy and rock and roll, it seems she has taken her queue from P!nk who has been rocking this style for years. Natural make-up is even more Pink-ish and that dress is simply SEXY! Miley looks grown up and amaxing! Again heavy liquid eyeliner but a natural lipstick this time.

Nicki Minaj

Some people love her, other people hate her... I just wish she would dress alittle normal sometimes! I won't even really go into this outfit, you know whats wrong with it. I can't be the only one who would love to see Nicki rock a gorge gown highlighting those curves in a way that doesn't scream, I'm the black Lady Gaga look at me! To each their own....

P!nk

I love P!nk! She's the ultimate rocker chick, but I'm disappointed in this dress!!! Not only does it make her look like she has a belly, but it does NOTHING for the rest of her figure. It's too bad because her face is flawless!

Kea$ha

Wow! Her hair and make-up is HOT! But this dress isn't minimizing her wideness, I've seen her in a bikini, thats just her body shape. Her stylist should have put her in a dress that emphasizes her waist and gives her bust some volume, sweetheart neckline would have been perfect! I adora her shoes... but this dress reminds me of an ice skater... no good.

Amber Rose

Isn't she just the cutest preggo? I really like her in this dress, she looks sophisticated and elegant rather than the video vixen she normally looks like. She is glowing from pregnancy and still looks sexy with a nude lining under that lace. Two Thumbs up!

Elizabeth Reaser

Elizabeth has jumped on the trend we mentioned early! LEATHER! This dress is a perfect example of that. Her hair is casual, easily a look you can pull off everyday!

Maria Menounos had the same idea. LOVE!







Sammy Sweetheart

This dress looks like she bought it on the boardwalk in Jersey.... the bow doesn't belong and she would have been better off with a real sweetheart neckline (it works for everyone). However her hair is perfect! The make-up is natural but the eye-liner doesn't look right to me... I would rather have seen her with a really nice smokey eye!

Deena looked just as cheap... they must shop together.
